This product fulfills its promises

The Philips Sonicare e-Series Sonic toothbrush head, recommended by my periodontist, fulfills every advertising promise. The angled head reaches all my problem areas and the timed two-minute sessions keep my teeth far cleaner than any manual brushing could. The steady, gentle motion massages and stimulates my gums so well, I have thrown away my rubber gum stimulators. I'm also very happy with the ease of cleaning this product and also the way it holds its charge (on a camping trip recently I was able to use my Philips Sonicare toothbrush for a whole week without re-charging). My only criticism would be that the whole head needs to be replaced as often as it does. I believe it would be possible to adjust the design to allow replacement of just the brush every three months and the entire head once a year, making this fine product more affordable for those of us on a fixed income.
Pros: fights periodontal disease, easy to clean
Cons: high cost

I have been using the Sonicare toothbrush with the E-series brush heads for about 2 years. My dental checkups have really improved; in fact, my dentist brags on how good my teeth and gums look since I started using the Sonicare. I also bought one for each of my grandchildren. Another thing I love about it, it stays charged for about a week, so if we are traveling for a long weekend, I don't need to take the base to charge it.
Pros: better dental checkups
Cons: nothing that i can think of

Our dentist recommended this product and both my husband and I use it twice a day. It is very easy to use, handsome design and does an excellent job on both teeth and gums.

My dentist advised me to begin using an electric tooth brush. She recommended this one. It has met all my expectations.

I have used this product since 1997 when my dentist said I needed gum surgery. He recommended use of this toothbrush for 6 months followed by a re-evaluation. I did not require the surgery and have used it ever since. I am now using my second toothbrush.
