Great For Braces

I just got braces and my manual toothbrush keeps getting caught in the brackets for some reason. I purchased the e-series compact SoniCare and it works GREAT. The smaller brush head gets all of the braces really clean and it has a 2-minute timer which is what the orthodontist recommended as a minimum brushing time. The braces have really worn down the brush after about 2 months but so did the manual brush.
I highly recommend this brush especially if you have braces. I can't wait to use it when the braces come off!!!!

Pros: teeth get really clean, two-minute timer, smaller brush head for smaller mouths, light weight, easy to use
Cons: expensive brush refills, can be a little hard to replace brush heads

I've used this product for years and get good dental check-up because of it. However, the head on this particular refill seems very small. I used a larger head prior to this, maybe, its my mistake but I'm hot happy with this one. I will continue to use Phillips dental care brushes as they work.
Pros: great cleaning, fast, easy to use.
Cons: head on this brush seems to be much smaller.

As a hygienist, I have been pleased with Sonicare for well over 20 years and have particularly recommended the compact head for many due to their obvious inability to get a larger head:
1. in their mouth,
2. too long of a brush feels like they are getting everywhere but they are not,
3. the smaller head makes a patient pay more attention to what they are doing and "auto-pilot" is less of a problem,
4. and they seem to like it - great for bruxers that have tight cheek muscles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this toothbrush for more 15 years and have absolutely loved it. My dentist noticed a difference right after I started using it. The brush heads work very well, and I like the blue to let me know when to change my head.

I do not care for this toothbrush. It leaks, and I have to unscrew the brush head and allow it to dry in between uses. If I don't, it collects a disgusting cheesy matter and actually sloshes when shaken. I doubt that I will purchase another sonicare. The heads are so expensive, that the unit itself should be flawless if Philips expects people to pay these prices for refills.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
