Great quality product, very reliable!

Looked at several security systems before purchasing the Swann. I am thrilled with the quality of the images and the reliability of the system. I performed the installation myself and found it to be fairly straightforward if you take your time and do a little research before jumping in. After the physical setup was determined the software configuration on the console was a breeze. I love the fact there is an IOS client (iphone and ipad) as well as a windows install and a mac install for the remote viewer. I followed all the recommendations and have a dedicated gmail setup to receive email alerts when events are triggered (motion etc). Great System! I started with the 8 Port NVR and 4 cameras, my next move is to add some additional cameras. Lots of fun and peace of mind for your property. Keep up the great work Swann, tks Peter

Having installed other CCTV kits this by far is the more superior. Its easy to install camera footage is fantastic. When connected to a mobile device you are able to zoom in, enhancing objects over 20 metres away. Recommended. A&A Electrical Installations.

The ease of installation and the quality of the images and simple setup was a joy. What was NOT a JOY is every single screw that came with the cameras disintegrated being screwed into pre drilled holes. I tried different screwdriver head. The screws snapped and broke midway into even Wood. Horrifying such a quality piece of tech and equipment is shipped with screws weaker than plastic. Just buy your own screws, don;t even TRY to use them. NONE were any good and so much trouble to get out when they snapped. The image quality and simplicity of software and hardware made up for the annoyance. Just use your own screws and buy the system. You will be thrilled

I have previously fitted a similar Swann system at work so I had no concerns when it came to buying one for home. This system records at a higher definition than my HD TV can actually display, which means I know I have crystal clear recorded Super HD video if ever required. The standard security features, such as email alerts (with images), remote viewing (via Internet, WAN, or LAN), and detection masking are fantastic and intuitive to use.

My 10 year old QSEE cameras were easier to install

POE is nice and it came with long cat5 Ethernet cables. Setup is all good except that the cameras are all designed to connect to an eve then you can tilt them downward. I had several places that I wanted to set on a shelf or a wall and that is not user friendly at all. The noise from the unit is so loud that I either have to move it into the garage or return it all. Also the cameras get so hot that when I showed my wife( touched it on her shoulder) she jumped and was surprised. Picture is excellent on tv and handheld devices. Everything you need comes in the box.
