Love mine but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love mine personally but there needs to be one without all the extra add-ons. Simply put it costs to much, still hurting from buying this thing. There needs to be a simple model, I never use the web os, wifi, and I really don't care about the blutooth... I just want to plug it into my computer and use it... all in all its good and works but it hurts in the wallet... If you want a simple unit this isn't for you and I don't suggest you buy it unless your size and wall weight restrained like I am... Ironically I score it low in features because it has way to many features that I could care less about...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The industrial design as an object is very beautiful and innovative. Despite the invention of this product type as a near-field projector (which didn't exist before) it maintains a surprisingly small package for itself taking up little space. However, it suffers like so many projectors before it from loud fan noise and unfortunately has no built in connectivity to OS (Mac) devices which is a shame.

I had a 42" TV before, going now to 100" is just awesome. The picture quality is very good and I am just projecting on a regular wall. Everyone in my family had a smile after seeing the picture.
I did a lot of research, especially on Projector Central, before buying and I have to say LG projectors are the best right now in terms of value, features, and quality.
It took me about 5 minutes to set it up since it is a Ultra Short Throw projector - no long wires to mess around or install a ceiling mounting system. Right out of the box, the picture quality was very good.
You definitely need a sound system to complement the nice, big picture.
The WebOS already has plenty of content (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) and I hope it includes more apps in the future through updates.
