Wish it got updates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for the bedroom because it will throw a great picture from a dresser and not look like you have a huge TV in the room. I just wish it got updates, LG seems to release new thing each month then never updates them. This one can't run any of the new apps and even the ones it can run are buggy at best. Plex app always needs you to re-login. This makes me give this lower stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great visuals for live shows for my band

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fairly easy to set up. Has stood up to being tussled to and from shows. Looks great. Once I figured out the basic settings it's been solid and very easy to figure out. We use it with a raspberry pi computer and using the higher def on that gives us great backing videos during shows. Starts up fast, the remote works like magic and shuts down fast.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can mount it upside down. I confirmed this. It also has 3 mount holes for hanging it upside down. Image flips and reverses for rear screen and upside down rear screen installation. Fan is loud. On-board speaker is cra**y (of course). great for home theater.

I went for a BDI Signal 8323 graphite low profile stand 17.75 inch to give a 100 inch diagonal using a screen that I installed myself. Elite Screens Sable Frame 2, 110-inch 16:9, Active 3D 4K Ultra HD Ready Fixed Frame Home Theater Projection Projector Screen, ER110WH2. I installed it in a guest bedroom allowing a perfect 30 degree viewing angle with a distance of 11 feet and the result is mind blowing.

It does not get the same updates as some of my other LG smartTVs though, so the apps available at his time are limited. Specifically I was trying to get the Play Movies & TV app from Google which showed up no problem on my other TVs but cannot be found anywhere on this projector.
Let me say again- the picture in really unreal.
Fantastic for Netflix, Vudu, and Live TV among other apps. Hopefully will get better updates, but seems to be on a different schedule, or the tech is slightly older and cannot support some of the newer apps (?).
Just don't lose sight of the fact that is is amazing to watch.

Great little thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this thinking it would be ok. I was blown away it is a great projector work well in light but it shines in the dark of course. The remote crapped out on me but that can be replaced.

Terrible App Availability

The app store doesnt work and there are barely any apps available. dumbest smart tv out there. renders your projector useless without good and properly functioning apps like Amazon Video, and no HBO.
