I didn't want a full blown smart watch that required me to charge it every night. I opted to go with a hybrid smart watch so I can get certain types of notification on my phone instead of all notifications. This watch fits that bill and looks great as well.

I initially bought this watch because I liked the look and styling. It is a little different from the traditional Skagen thin face look but stylish enough that I knew I needed to add it to my collection. I loved the quick change band that comes separately. The step counter is close enough to be functional however the sleep timer is way off. I have mine set for 7 hours and it tells me I am getting 4 1/2 hours of sleep. If I only got 4 1/2, I would know. Otherwise, it is a great timepiece. It is going to be hard to not wear it everyday.

I had a Hald for a year which worked great, and it is basically a slimmer and lighter version of the Hagen as the Hald uses a CR2412 battery that would last only about 4-6 months, while this Hagen uses a CR2430 battery which would last twice as long before needing a replacement. Either way, I've had really positive experiences with Skagen's smart watches and got one for my husband who has been beyond pleased - only down side is the leather straps are not as durable as we'd like them, but you can always just buy a sleek silicon strap from Skagen to replace it instead, which my husband did. The brown leather also looks much darker, closer to a blackish brown in person. Overall doesn't take anything away from both the functionality and style of the watch. Syncing to the App is extremely easy, and for frequent travelers, you will be so spoilt by never having to adjust your analog watches ever again!

The watch came wrapped in a plastic bag, no box no user guidelines no warranty card Nothing! Called the customer service and they asked me to buy everything from a Skagen store, how could I gift it without a BOX! Would never buy again from this company.
