A sleek hybrid watch was exactly what I was looking for

I bought this for my BF. I was looking at very $$ Detroit brand watches and I wasn't sold on it. But a guy I work with on Set has a Skagen watch and recommended it. The mix of old and new with the leather band and that it's partly "smart watch" is ideal. I also love you can switch out the wrist band if needed. I was afraid at first the face of it would be too big and tacky. But it isn't. It's just slightly thicker. My BF LOVES this watch.

I own several classic automatic watches and smart watches too. This hybrid one is unique with benefits of both classic and smart watches. It's elegant, totally suits formal situations, and offers more functions like to notify you of the calls/messages/alarms you receive in your phone. As it synchronizes the time with your phone, you don't need to worry about its accuracy at all. The only thing I may complain about it is that I can't turn it off to save the battery when I'm not wearing it. I would like to see a firmware update to include this function.

This watch is durable, beautiful, and syncs quickly. I get so many compliments on it! I highly recommend this smart watch, and it's also a great value for what it is. Before this, I had a Misfit Phase, which looked similar. It was more expensive, way less accurate, had less features, and the glass was much too delicate. This is 100 times better for so many reasons.

I really like the design and appearance of this watch. The 'hybrid" elements are fun additions, but not the reason to buy it. It's a watch first, and a smart watch second, and that is totally ok.

The watch fulfills all it promises to fulfill. It's a solid hybrid watch. I find myself wanting a bit more customization with the buttons (a double tap option would be a great way to expand the functionality), but what it does, it does acceptably well. I've marked it down to 4 stars in part for the customization, and in part for the color of the particular model. In the phoot, it is clearly grey, but it has a notable blue tint to it. In real life, the "blueness" is more muted. It still looks classy, to be sure, but it just wasn't exactly what I was expecting. If you don't mind those minor issues, it's a good deal on a well-designed watch.

The design of the watch is quite pleasing as are all Skagen watches. However, design only goes so far. The most frustrating aspect has been finding instructions on how to use the watch. It does not pair well with my iPhone 8 health app. The sleep function has decided that I am asleep when on my lounger reading a book. I own three Skagen "regular" watches and love them. Therefore, it has been a major disappointment to be so unsatisfied with this hybrid smart watch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've always liked classic watch styles but have been intrigued by smartwatch features; however I think people checking messages, texting and talking into their wrists to looks pretty silly. This watch is the best of both worlds. You can assign up to 6 contacts and 6 apps to revive notifications from and the vibration strength is adjustable. The 3 buttons can be assigned to many different functions; I chose Control Music, volume up and volume down as I listen to podcasts a lot. Had trouble getting the watch to control music but once I scanned and connected the watch in my phone's bluetooth it worked perfectly. I emailed Skagen support with this issue and while the response email wasn't really helpful as I had already tried their suggestions, I appreciated the quick response I got the next morning.
