Fabulous Bosch dishwasher

Note: we have 4 kids so our dishwasher is run everyday if not twice a day. This new model has so many options to alllow for so many scenarios...love it! AND..it’s virtually silent! I will always buy Bosch!

VERY QUIET BUT HAS A MAJOR FLAW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch diswasher, the SHP88PW55N, is so quiet you have to put your ear against it to hear if it's running, or check for the light on the floor. That's a cool Feature. And it washes reasonably well. The major flaw is that it doesn't dry the dishes. IT HAS NO DRYING MECHANISM! The design is that after the wash the steam rises and is channeled to the sides of the unit where it drips down and drains away. But it doesn't work. The dishes are always wet. I don't mean some water is left puddled in the concave bottoms of the glasses. I mean all the dishes are wet all over, even when the Extra Dry setting and the Sanitize setting is used. The only way to get the dishes to dry is to prop the door open once the rinse cycle is finished. I'm SO very disappointed in this dishwasher!

Best dishwasher ever!

The addition of the salt removes any water spots from my very hard water from the city. The versatile settings for the racks are also perfect. My dream has come true in my new kitchen with a new dishwasher to boot! Happy forever.
