I just got this installed this week. I love the adjustable features of the dishwasher. I also like that you can add softener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher came highly recommended from the store, but we are only moderatly pleased. The dishes come out clean enough, but for the amout of drying time we add to the cycle, the dishes still come out as wet on a lot of the pieces. Plasticware is the worst. We use a drying/rinse agent recommended by Bosh, as well as the recommended detergent tabs, and we still have wet dishes whe the cycle is through.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and effective, but not perfect

We had a previous Bosch dishwasher we loved, but it eventually died. We replaced it with this version. Initially we were not happy with the MyWay rack until we figured out how to adjust the height.
The product is extremely quiet and does a great job of cleaning dishes. To the person who complained about it not drying dishes, that is true if you don't use the JetDry application. If you fill the applicator, we find the dishes usually dry just fine.
While we love the clean exterior finish of this unit, it is also the source of our biggest complaint. Our previous dishwasher had a numbers display on the outside. If it showed "0" we knew a load of dishes was clean and ready. This unit shows a little red light on the ground when it is in operation but there is no way to differentiate a finished load from a "ready to be washed load". We frequently open the dishwasher to add dirty dishes and drip dirty water all over the clean dishes.
To make this the perfect dishwasher, Bosch needs to add a green light that shines on the ground to indicate the washer is finished. It should stay on permanently until the door is opened. Alternately, give us our display back on the outside!

Yeah it cleans but doesn't dry well AT ALL.

We've had this for 6 months. If we could, we'd return it. Cleaning is good, but the lack of a drying feature leaves top 2 racks of items with puddles and moisture, even on the extra dry setting (which is a "must use" if you want any chance of dry dishes).
Anything like a mug or glass with a slight indentation on top will have a puddle of water after use. Plastic items like Tupperware will have condensation all over them. Tried to add a photo, but it wouldn't accept it.
The result? Even after finishing a 2:51 minute cycle, we need to unload our items, on drying racks on the counter for a couple hours to let them air dry.
Really just awful for such an expensive item.

Will Not buy Bosch AGAIN! Horrible

Bought this dishwasher 8 months ago. We have to clean the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, different than what the directions say. If there is any speck of food left on the dishes it doesn't clean it just dries the specks of food on plates or glasses. Super disappointing considering this is the more expensive option for a dishwasher. The only positive is, it is very quiet.

Smells Terrible!! Awkward to load.

Purchased in Nov 2017. The DW is beautiful, quiet and cleans well... BUT it smells terrible!! We have done everything we can to figure out the smell problem, but it continues to smell terrible! I would love to return this one and get a different brand. We have had a DW for 40 years and have never had this problem with any of the others. Don't even think about buying this!
It is also very awkward to load. The racks are very oddly configured with no real place for glasses. Programming is hard to figure out.

Quiet!!!

I bought this dishwasher almost a month ago and it is night and day between the Bosch and my other dishwasher. The dishes always come out clean. The Bosch is very quiet and I am really getting into having the 3rd rack.
I would recommend this to a friend!
