Lots of room

Just installed the fridge. Lots of space for everything I wanted to store. Easy to access and great lighting. We love the slate color.
Only drawback is that I was surprised that I didn't notice an egg compartment on the door. I wish it had one. All other features seem great and we look forward to using it.
It also shipped without a water filter. That was a surprise to us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is so easy to get things in and out of this refrigerator with the French doors. The freezer is wonderful because it holds a lot of food.

Beautiful slate finish. Wish the handles were made of a similar product or at least one that didn't show fingerprints so badly, which is why we chose a slate finish for the fridge. Very roomy inside. No troubles with the ice maker although the water spout is always dribbling a little. Drawers feel a little cheap and large drawer on bottom of fridge doesn't pull very far out, so difficult to see all that is in the drawer. Very roomy freezer as well. Would be nice if they added a frozen pizza slot in the front. Overall very happy with this product. It runs very quietly.

First time GE appliance purchase

Although I was hesitant to purchase a stainless steel finish, I find that it is fairly easy to keep looking clean. The split shelf is a nice feature for storing larger pitchers and gallons of milk. I am disappointed with how far the drawers are able to be pulled out, reaching items in the back of the drawer can be a challenge. The water dispenser occasionally drips causing water spots on the tray below. Also, the top drawer in the freezer does not slide very easily. Overall this appliance is average, but nothing out of the ordinary.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recently purchased this fridge and we have been very happy. The french-door style allows for more shelf space that our previous side-by-side model. The large drawers give flexibility for storage both in fridge and freezer sections. The alarm on door is a nice feature for when kids "forget" to close the doors back from snack time; instant mom-alert built right in.

Works great. The lighting is great and the glass shelves allow you to quickly find what you need. The door has big compartments for gallon drinks. The icemaker is on top but away from the interior giving you more freezer room.

New French Door Fridge/Freezer

Just had unit installed. Happy with size of unit and layout. BIG drawer on freezer is a little hard to pull out but great storage. Also just a little noisy but not disturbing. Love option of cubes or crushed ice.
