great but scratches easy

great but 2 complaints: the front surface scratches really easy. the installer scratched it but just letting the handle go while installing.
other thing is there is no room for anything as tall as a 2 liter or gallon of milk except on the door. should have got the higher model with the slide in shelf.

Though the same cubic ft. as my old fridge there isn't as much storage in fridge compartment and no butter dish as my old one. Also I think the slate color doesn't have the same features as stainless, otherwise it works well and seams to be well built.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the general look of the appliance the design of the refrigerator /freezer is wonderful, more room in the refrigerator less time in the freezer cuse you can see what's in it easier

It's Beautiful and Spacious!

I bought kitchen appliances as our Christmas gift, and we love all of our GE appliances. This is our second go around with purchasing GE! We've purchased another brand name washer and dryer in the past, and by far our GE appliances have outlasted other brands. So quiet!!

Large Large Large!

This is one of four appliances purchased a month ago. Out of the four of them, Even though I like this appliance, I am disappointed in one feature; the options on the outside panel for the ice maker/distribution does not light up; only a line indicating the status but not the text e.g. Water, crushed, cubed, fridge options, etc. Also, the appearance upon arrival...not so great. Where ever there were stickers on the outside of the refrigerator (and stove too) it left a residue of the adhesive. Also, edges from protective plastic does not come out of the seams of the freezer door and it looks terrible; not sure what kind of tool to use to get it out. One of the doorhandles is dented and the refrigerator doors are not hung even. The store where I purchased this item recommended I contact GE direct and I intend to do that. Even with the minor negatives, I love the space this appliance has.

Four days and loving it!!!

I have only had this model for four days but I'm loving it!!! It is huge but it is perfect for my remodeled kitchen. The color is great and it's extra roomy inside! I haven't had the ice maker installed yet but I'm sure we'll enjoy it. This was a great buy!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
