Sleek and feature rich refrigerator

I bought a suite of Slate GE appliances including this refrigerator freezer. Filter was defective and was immediately replaced by factory technician.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have been very happy with our purchase so far. The only possible complaint we can find is that there is no way to regulate the amount of ice it will make. And for our family, the output of ice isn't quite where we need it to be. Luckily, there is an additional ice maker you can purchase to attach to the bottom freezer drawer that we are going to invest in to fix this problem. So its really not even a problem with the fridge that can't be fixed. Overall, we've been very impressed with the purchase and would highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone. Everybody who's been in our house and seen it has oohed and aahed it!

Gorgeous Appliance

We are extremely pleased with our new GE Slate Refrigerator. The refrigerator makes a statement when you enter the kitchen. The interior led lighting is wonderful; the plentiful space and various compartments make organizing a breeze. I love the bottom drawer freezer too. We don't have any complaints to report at this time.

It is louder than my old one. Had a tech come out to check it and he said due to the fans and possible moisture that can get on them it is normal to be noisy.

Almost a great refrigerator

Only problem is the water dispenser dribbles after you use it. There is always a drip or two left on the base of the dispenser. GE tells me this is normal.

I purchased this fridge a couple months ago, I bought the extra ice maker in the bottom freezer. Having 2 ice makers, they still can't keep up with our family & most days it's just my husband & I. If I could return this fridge, I would do it in a heartbeat for one that would keep up with ALL of our ice needs. This one thing is a total deal breaker for my family. Also, it was supposed to have a 'half shelf'. It doesn't have that. EVERYTHING I've read, the demo at store it ALL said it would have it, nope. Not there. The things I like, the space & it's pretty.
