Avoid at all Costs!

The freezer works great! The refrigerator won’t go below 40 degrees!! Set to 34, doesn’t get cold! Had over 18 visits by warranty company, on the last one GE said we are loading our fridge wrong! My garage fridge has no problem. This fridge is junk! I’m losing food to spoilage. Taking everything thing out and getting service back out, so GE can try and say that an empty fridge is loaded too much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this refrigerator!

Got this refrigerator on Monday to replace one I wanted moved to the basement after trying to make it functional for years. This refrigerator scores a 10+!!! I love the layout with the french doors and the freezer on the bottom - easy access to everything! And even though it is technically the same size as my old fridge, everything just fits better! It's also quiet and my water comes out cold and quick! Love this refrigerator!

PLEASED WITH MY DECISION!

I shopped online for a new refrigerator for 3 weeks before narrowing my search to 3 units that met my needs. I then went to the store I chose to see and compare them side by side in person. After looking at the other two, I was taken to a counter depth GE that was similar to this one because the store did not have this one on the showroom floor. I chose this one and I have not regretted my decision at all! One thing I will mention that is not a problem for me but would concern me if I had children at home is that the water dispenser doesn't have a tray under it to catch water. It has a flat ledge that water, ice chips can slip right off of. Small issue but perhaps they are all like that, this is my first fridge with a water dispenser and I have nothing to compare it to. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my purchase!

Fresh food compartment is roomy and everything is within easy reach. I was afraid I would not like the bottom freezer but that is not the case!! The freezer has great lighting..

Big. I had to move a cabinet to make it fit but well with the effort. Now I don't have to bend over to get ice out of the back of the freezer. Chilled water and ice without having to open a door! Great! Everything is well lit and freezer is very convenient. Like it so far.
