TERRIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY USE

Design of this unit is terrible. You need both doors open to do anything even when you are opening one drawer. The doors seem to hang in mid-air and need a good push to seal and close. If not the silent alarm goes off that you can barley hear.
The freezer is a mother to open. You really need to be careful you don't pull the entire until with you. With that said, ever 3-4 weeks the freezer door handle will pop off sending you across the room. This handle is only held on with two small hex nuts that are tightened by a small allen wrench.
Who designs these things?????? TERRIBLE
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will not last

I have only purchased kitchen appliances from GE in the past. That has all changed since owning this unit. Compressor has issues won’t be covered by warranty because I don’t have proof of purchase date although quality control tags in mechanic panel are dated 2018. Will not buy GE again.

This was the worst purchase we’ve ever made.

None of the features work. We had a service person come in and he supposedly fixed it but as soon as he left it still wasn’t working. Never buying GE again. This was the worst purchase we have ever made and never never again will we buy this brand.

This is the worst refrigerator I ever bought. I have to defrost this unit every 6 months because the refrigerator compartment defrost drain ices up and clogs. Because of this happening, the water fills under the deli drawer and ices up. The ice maker refill tube then freezes up. Really hard to imagine buying anything GE again. This unit was bought in 2019. I will be remodeling my kitchen next year
