I love how much room this refrigerator has. The one thing that bothers me is the ice maker doesn't produce enough ice.

Need higher shelves

The refrigerator has the space I expected. It’s roomy but is configured insufficiently. The ability to adjust the shelves for larger containers would help. Also, more compartments for items such as eggs would be helpful. It also occasionally makes a weird noise.

Not at all please with planned obsolescence. Previous GE refer prematurely failed and had to be replaced.

Nice product poor packaging

Overall extremely satisfied however, the plastic wrap that was applied to the doors for protection seem to have had the rubber gasket seal glued on top of it which has made it nearly impossible to remove even w/ tweezers. Honestly this is something not worth complaining about just wish these brilliant engineers had to use the stuff they design before shipping it to customers. Outside of that we love the fridge everything we need without too much technology to jack with. Perfect for people that don't want or need theie fridge to be controlled from a phone. It got cold quickly and so far is running great.

Not as well equipped as older model

Bought this to replace our 9 year old refrigerator similar model. In general it's close to the same but missing a few options. Items missing from old unit are bottom ice maker, now its an option, the butter shelf, the temperature adjustable lower drawer and door shelf liners. Definitely not quite the same as the old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Competent fridge, just not much fun in kitchen

Fridge doors are inconvenient to open and close, drawers require both doors fully open to access food, shelves are not much fun to take out for cleaning.
The most unreliable part of a fridge - the ice maker - makes 2 appearances in this product, giving us at least twice the headaches of a fridge with one ice maker. The dual ice makers are ALWAYS getting clogged and require turning off for 3 days so that the ice clogs can evaporate. I feel like I'm always on an ice maker "pit crew" to keep them running.
Had to replace a condenser fan that failed way too early, replacement fan was expensive and took a lot of surgery to replace it.
It does a good job of attaining and holding fridge and freezer temps. We just wish it was "friendlier" with the drawers and doors. We want to like this thing, and it is a competent fridge, but it just isn't a joy to have in the kitchen.
The manual indicated it had some sort of internet connectivity, so after an hour of fussing around I realized that it just didn't have that module.
GE appliances are not my first choice these days as they just seem less and less like a good value for the money.
