Poor workmanship abounds

This product has been a disappointment from the very beginning. So many things have failed it is hard to know where to start.
Firstly it makes ice where it isn’t supposed to and doesn’t make it where it is supposed to. Ice behind the crisper trays. Ice on the seal of the ice maker door. Ice on the compressor fan. No ice in the lower ice maker. Ice won’t come out of upper ice maker.

And the ice in the upper ice maker won’t ever come out without opening system and adjusting ice. Finally the door latch broke off on the ice maker interior door.
This machine makes loud fan noises. I’m sure the fan will have a short life. The freezer drawer seal came loose and flops around. The top part of the fridge is too warm 56 degrees and the drawers freeze everything. The door drawers have cracked and will not support much now.
This is such a poorly made product I would be embarrassed to call it mine if I made it. Remember when fridges lasted? I do. This one isn’t even five years old. Model GFE28HSKISS serial sf513161. Can’t wait to buy a different brand. GE has lost my trust.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New GE Refrigertor

We just received our new refrigertor today it looks beautiful . We purchase GE Gas Stove in the color of Slate and after that our old refrigertor looked out place. Slate does not leave fingerprint BIG Bonus. We love color it much better than stainless steel.

Love how much space there is & the in the door ice maker. The other fridge I was looking at from another brand took up nearly half the top shelf with where the ice maker was. So far it’s working beautifully, we’ve only had it about a month now but keeps everything super cold. Fruits/ veggies stay fresh longer than they did in my old fridge as well.

Nice fridge. Not huge but big enough. Wish there was a second ice maker in it though. For teens that need to fill their mugs up with ice it doesn’t make enough. Other than that love it. Love the style the look and features
