Long over due!

I'm sure we will love it if we ever receive it, ordered February 29th, promised in three weeks we will have it. I'm writing this on May 8th. The factory shows it will be in production May 23rd. So who mis lead us, Fred's Appliance or G.E.?

They just don’t make refrigerators like they used to. It looks nice has been OK, but it’s loud and has its issues with the fan not working in things freezing.

Disappointment includes having to slam ice area,

Freezer door loose since day one.
Can't figure where light is that's flashing in bottom drawer of fridge, needs replaced but can't find access. I've back has to be smacked so ice will dispense

We hate to hear that your freezer drawer has been loose from the start, and that you’ve had trouble with the freezer light and the ice dispenser as well. We want to help. For your freezer door, we recommend looking at the steps starting on page 31 of your use and care manual, linked below. There you’ll find instructions on reinstalling the door, which will help you tighten it.

Same as 8 yr old one that died but no freezer door

Same as old frig that died (8 yr old GE slate stainless steel french door) except this one did not come with any shelf that attached to top of freezer door! I want that back as handy for ice packs!

Freezer stopped cooling less than 3 yrs old

My refrigerator is less than 3 years old, and my freezer has stopped cooling. We therefore have no ice, either. We did not purchase an extended warranty:( We wanted to buy American-made but are now sorry that we did. We paid way too much for it to be defective already.
