Great product, but the inside is starting to freeze. So 5 years without issues is pretty good, I just hope the repair call doesn’t make me cry. $$

I absolutely love my new refrigerator, it is so much bigger than my old 25cf GE. The bottom freezer is so nice and bigger than the side by side. No complaints so far.

Ice not good tasting

It is a five star review. However, we’ve had this for a year and a half and the ice still tastes off. The water coming out of the fridge taste perfectly fine. I have no idea why the ice taste bad. It has nothing to do with the filter. I am wondering what kind of tubing brings the water into the ice tray because the ice does have a plastic/chemical taste to it. It would be nice if we could upgrade to a metal tubing. As for now, even though it’s inconvenient, we buy ice from the grocery store and keep it in the freezer. One of the reasons we bought a new refrigerator is for the icemaker so basically, it was a big waste of money for us. Just to add, yes, the refrigerator has been thoroughly cleaned on the inside. And yes we have had someone come out to look at it and yes, we have put baking soda in several places in the refrigerator and freezer.

glass shelves and large door bins are great. They don't make a dairy bin for this model but it has room for one. wasted space there.

Crisper Drawer Assembly Cheaply Made!

I have had this refrigerator for less than 3 years and the plastic pieces in the crisper drawer assembly all became brittle and broke. I do not put heavy items in the drawers but the assembly cracked and the wheels disintegrated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
