Great, until the compressor went out

Compressor failed at 5 years. It’s almost the price of a new fridge to replace it.

Not like Old GE

Totally disappointed. This unit replaces identical 3 year old unit that quit. Problem with sealed system. Lost all contents.

Not a great frig. not working now

We have had it for 7 yrS. and have problems with over freezing and dripping on to the floor AND warped my wood floors. Now it is not cooling in the top and freezing some of the vents by the meat and cheese dept. We have had it serviced once. Frustration since our GE profile other frig only lasted 5 ½ yrs. Getting frustrated at GE products going bad.

We've repaired this frig 3 times since 2019. At 1000. Plus everything GE doesn't stand behind they're lemon.

Do not recommend!!!

Purchased in 2019 for our new home. Repair man out right away after purchase. Ice gets stuck in maker, water in door freezes, meat and cheese drawer started freezing the contents and NOW THE Whole fridge does not cool!! Very sad to only get little over 4 years out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refrigerator is not built well at all. My fridge is 4 years old and just found the water dispenser or ice maker isn’t working and there is water pooling in the bottom drawer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE products not worth it

GE appliances are not built to last. Both the refrigerator and microwave I purchased 4 years ago have died. Currently this refrigerators water dispenser and ice maker are not working while a frozen drain line is causing water to fill up the bottom drawer making it unusable. AVOID THIS REFRIGERATOR!

Nice adjustable shelves

Just had fridge installed and I picked this one because it matches the Stove in Slate and GE only makes Slate. I am not super fond of French door Fridges, but there weren't any in stock to choose from and my other fridge stopped working. I give this 4 stars because of the difficulty getting the plastic off the doors that protects it. I still have some that I cannot get off the fridge so it is stuck there. I also give it 4 stars because the shelves on the left side could be made a little bigger. But what I do like about this fridge, is that you can adjust the main shelfs to put taller stuff like a juice bottle and still use the smaller shelf that is usable. Some fridges after you adjust it, you are stuck with a 1" opening shelf. This one is better.
I would recommend this to a friend!
