Overpriced Lemon

This is 5 year review... started out bad with a poly tubing connection not being secure from the factory which caused water to leak all on my hardwoods in my brand new house. Then about 3 years in the refrigerator evaporative fan quit working which caused food to go bad in the refrigerator. Then today after coming home from vacation found a freezer with thawed food and a room temperature fridge due to the compressor not running. Very disappointed with the quality of this fridge for the price. Always thought GE made quality appliances but apparently they just put their names on low quality appliances like other companies do nowadays.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice fridge and freezer. Plenty of space. But you shouldn’t advertise that it connects to the internet if it does not.

My 3rd GE Profile refrigerator

This is the 3rd refrigerator of this style because the first 2 were horrible and now this one has the loudest ice maker ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While we understand that the ice maker is making loud noises, this can be due to normal operation of the refrigerator. Our ice makers are designed for quiet operation but will make some noise during the ice making cycle. During a freezing cycle, it is normal to hear the fan moving air and the water pump circulating water.
You may also hear the ice hitting the bin or ice in the bin during harvest.
If you believe the sounds made by your unit to be abnormal, we strongly suggest taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling a service appointment. Great storage and nice ice maker.

Our old GE refrigerator lasted us 22 year's. I hope this one I payed double the price for back in 2002 lasts me as long. So far we are satisfied with all its features.

GE fridge with plenty of capacity

We have owned this fridge for a few months now and it works great. It has so much space and shelves are easily adjusted. I can’t think of any problems with it other than you have to be a little forceful to shut doors. An annoyance was trying to get the plastic packaging off-the fridge was put together over top the plastic so hard to get all of it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!
