French Door Refrigerator

We love our new refrigerator - the doors open wide making it convenient to load and find items. The drawer freezer is much larger than our old side by side. Overall, this refrigerator has all the options we could want with lots more space than our old refrigerator in the same space. I believe this is because the refrigerator/freezer is designed and laid

Less than a week good so far

After entering through double front doors, it was a challenge for the delivery men to get this refrigerator through door to kitchen. It took some time but now have a working unit. It has been less than one week but so far I am pleased. I purchased from an appliance store which has been in business over 75 years. Customer service is important to me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty refrigerator

This is my first time having a French door style refrigerator. I previously had a side by side style GE Profile unit. I love GE products so decided to stick with them. I love the extra storage space this allows and the water/ice dispenser seems great so far. Only regret is that this fridge doesn’t have a dairy box or can storage on the door. We’re big seltzer drinkers here. However, with the extra space inside I don’t think we’ll be needing as much door storage. Overall I’m very pleased with my new purchase. The slate color is beautiful as well.

Stopped cooling after 2 years

I purchased all GE appliances for a new home build 6 years ago. For some time now, the refrigerator was not cooling properly, hovering at 42 degrees. Service tech found internal failure of the wiring harness to the condenser fan and said it could not be repaired, so I was forced to purchase a new refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works fine but not built to last

The refrigerator is not built to last. We have already had to replace the cooling motor within the last year and now it is starting to freeze our food. It is difficult to clean and the ice maker on the door frequently jams up. Otherwise, it works great.
