I purchased GE so that I could always get replacement parts. Also purchased extended warranty. I chose the SLATE color….I’m so done with SS and fingerprints! Love it!!!!

Ok fridge, quirky problems.

This fridge is awesome, when it works right. Occasionally the bottom drawer completely freezes everything in it, anytime the fridge is remotely full. Also when the fridge is full, the waterline for the front dispenser freezes and you can get filtered water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re thrilled you’re enjoying the refrigerator overall, though we truly hate to hear you’ve had an issue with the bottom drawer as well as the waterline for the front dispenser freezing. We know issues like those would cause concern, and we’d like to assist.
You may want to check the temperature in the fresh food section, and adjust it if necessary; we generally recommend that the section should be between 37 and 42 degrees F. We do also have an article discussing various troubleshooting steps if the unit is getting too cold here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=23002 . We hope that information may help.
For the trouble you’ve had with the waterline freezing, we recommend contacting our Service Department at 1-800-432-2737; a technician would be glad to diagnose and repair this issue, and can also assist with the freezing problem with the bottom drawer if you are unable to resolve that through troubleshooting.
