Ugh! Only lasted 4 years.

Bought this fridge in late 2017 and now it won’t get cold and can’t be fixed. It is disgusting that refrigerators aren’t made to last longer than this. No wonder our landfills are full.

Worst ever

Now I see why GE only offered a year warranty because they know their products will tear up . I’ve only had issues with this fridge since I bought it . Worst ever

Drop the ball

We have had GE everything in our last home we purchased new in 1979. We sold 2 yrs ago and every GE product was still working great! So as you would guess GE was the brand we choose with our current new home but the refrigerator has cause us nothing but disappointment and frustration. the ice maker besides being very loud. It is constantly getting jammed we ice. The front touch plate has completely came off. Also I am pretty sure stainless steel is meant not to rust and we have rust spots on the front doors in places and we always used the correct cleaner for upkeep! We have a 375K home and a fridge of coarse now out of warranty that looks like it was purchased at a bent and dent store.I don't think it will last 5 yrs at this rate of problems. Can we say Quality Control sure was asleep on the job with this one!

Don’t buy it!

The lights started failing 18 months after we got it. The fridge fan broke 4 years Lester so no cooling in the fridge . I will never buy GE again

Some of my favorite things include the outside easy access to water, cubes and crushed ice, the easy way to find things in the freezer, and the new Slate color.

Worst appliance I’ve ever owned. PERIOD.

Ours is only 3 years old and, in the last year we’ve had it repaired FOUR times with a different part failing each time. We are now waiting for a technician to come out again as the fridge AND freezer are both warm. Do not buy this model. You’ll regret it. Learn from us.

Avoid this fridge at all costs

Bought this fridge in 2019 and have over the past 3 years REPEATEDLY had the water line freeze to the point where no water was being dispensed and I was spending an hour of my day trying to "unfreeze" the water line. It's gotten to the point where this is a daily occurrence and this is a known issue with GE refrigerators based on a simple google search. The fact that there hasn't been a recall for this is absurd.
