The design is perfect the storage is incredible. The water filter works great, we have very bad city water, even to the point of using bottled water. Now I can drink the water straight from the fridge

Our only complaint is the the very annoying sound when the refrigerator runs. I have never owned one that is this loud.

We appreciate your feedback and concern. Modern refrigerators have new features and are more energy efficient than older ones. The foam insulation used in new models has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient however it is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation.

Hard surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl or hard wood floors, walls and kitchen cabinets may make these operating sounds more noticeable. As a result, certain sounds may be unfamiliar on a new refrigerator at first. These sounds are normal and are usually an indication that the refrigerator is operating properly. The new refrigerator makes noises or sounds that your old refrigerator did not so it catches your attention. We hope this information is helpful. Enjoy your new refrigerator. Be safe. Geoff@GEA

Constantly Freezing Up

This product started off in a bad place. First of all when they delivered it, they put a big scratch on the freezer door. The vegatable and meat bins are freezing up and gave been for over 6 months now, and I'm on 3 service calls for this one issue. Every time I have service I have to unplug and defrost the refrigerator for 48 hrs to make sure all the ice that has accumulated thaw's out. This creates its own challenge, with trying to keep food in a cooler, and also trying to keep water off my hardware floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
