I was so excited to install new fridge - I wish the ice maker produced more (found out I can purchase an additional one for freezer on bottom, I did but would have been nice to just have 1) color is beautiful, not totally "anti-fingerprint), door came with scratches and top of door has a crinkle in it, store is ordering a replacement - just puts a damper on a "new product"
I would recommend this to a friend!

Slate color is a keeper.

I bought this on the reputation of GE. I had a Samsung that was a complete failure so I was pretty particular on my choice. I read everything I could find on this model. I am satisfied with what I have so far, although I must add that the compressor noise is extremely loud in comparison to the Samsung. That’s something GE needs to work on. The slate color is awesome, the exterior is not fingerprint resistant, they just don’t show up as well. The design is pretty well standard and is quite usable. A second ice maker in the freezer compartment is a must as the in the door maker cannot keep up at all. There are enough good things about the fridge that I am not unhappy, but there could definitely be some improvements especially for what I had to pay for this unit. Expected a little better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs more ice

Everything about the refrigerator is great other than not enough ice. I know there’s an option to add an additional ice maker in the freezer it should come standard installed.

It's a beautiful refrigerator. It's very large inside and I love that the ice maker doesn't take up a huge amount of space. Will have to have it for a while before I can say how it functions.

Freezer not defrosting.

right on time after the 1yr warrantee expired started having trouble with the freezer not defrosting.

Very quiet and beautiful. Did not come with a butter compartment but was able to purchase it as an option. Minimal fingerprint issues. Like the fact it is USA made.
