I love the looks but it was broken within 30 days. Freon leaked out. Thanksgiving without fridge. Had to order parts. It’s been 3 to 4 weeks with NO fridge.

Brittle, cheap finish details.

Refrigerator runs as it should, but the finished are made of a cheap and brittle plastic that cracks and disintegrates during normal use.

not enough door storage
on March 5, 2021
Posted by: BestMomOfFour
from Ray, MI
Only purchased this one because our old one stopped working - same refrigerator only without the ice/water in door. Our old one wasn't really old - just 6 years! It started freezing items in the bottom refrigerator door and the upper shelves wouldn't cool below 50 degrees! So, we purchase this one, because it matched our other appliances and was available the day after our other one stopped running correctly. We are very disappointed in the storage with this model. There just simply isn't enough space in the doors AND the configuration of the shelves make storing milk and juice containers impossible anywhere except the doors. Maybe try filling the refrigerator with normal groceries before designing shelving like this. I do like the freezer storage and extra snack drawer in the refrigerator.

Response from geappliances.comBy Geoff@GEA, GE Appliances, March 9, 2021
Hello BestMomOfFour. We are sorry to hear that you had to replace a refrigerator that had failed but glad you supported GE Appliances. A refrigerator with icemaker in the door will take up some valuable storage space inside in fresh food section but provides more storage in freezer section. The door bins ae used to store large drink items like milk or juice. Consider checking the adjustable shelves inside the fresh food section to raise shelves for space needed. We appreciate the feedback and will forward to our refrigeration team fro future consideration. We apologize deeply for your experience. Be safe. Geoff@GEA
