Crap Icemaker

Bought this fridge cause it had the same icemaking specs as our old one. We are always running out of ice. Called service, said ice maker is working as "designed". Turns out it is but it has a very small bucket to fill, get a couple of glasses of ice and your out. Seems odd that they also designed it with a secondary "optional" ice maker just in case? I also wonder that since this is a Chinese owned company that it's the reason why their products and service suck?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I upgraded to the GE appliance line after years with another company and I couldn't be happier...GE quality & warranty makes a huge difference! I highly recommend stepping up to GE appliances with your next purchase!

Nice frig, just kinda loud when it runs out

We love our new refrigerator. The doors the top doors are not level and the overflow tray doesn’t actually hold any water. It is just an insert.

Love the finish and ample room

It is rather "noisy" as if it runs all the time. When checking, were told that's how they are???!!! Dispenser for water and ice work great.... it just hums a lot more than our old GE

It’s the BEST. It works fine and is very spacious. The refrigerator has French doors which adds to its style and has a matte black finish which makes it have the modern style that I was going for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Fridge-Freezer Tough to Open

The size and features of this fridge are great. The freezer is extremely hard to open unless it was just closed. The ice capacity is smaller than expected for the size of fridge. Ice production is slow during daytime when fridge is used more.

Love the look

I really like it but have a couple of issues. One, the freezer door is very hard to open. In fact, my 87 year old mother can't open it. Also. The cubed crushed and water go everywhere. So we have to use a cup, hold it up high so nothing jumps out and then fill our glass from the cup. Quite a pain.

Broken after a few months

After several months the door sensor broke. The warranty process has been a nightmare, and it’s still not fixed more than six weeks after I made the claim. I still have two more weeks to wait. What if my fridge didn’t work at all? Would I have to go without a refrigerator for two months? Pathetic.
