Loads of room!

I’m loving my new GE refrigerator. There’s so much room. You can configure the shelves to accommodate an extra long pan or tray. The freezer has ample amounts of room as well. The separate drawer on top makes organization easy, not just one giant drawer. The ice maker in the door is smaller than our previous unit so we keep a Tupperware container in the bottom drawer to hold extra ice. We opted out of the additional ice maker due to the price. But this has worked out fine so far.
The color is my favorite thing. Slate is a matte color, so finger prints are less visible and it just looks high end.

I think we paid about a $1000 too much due to Covid-19. But we needed a fridge when ours quit. Wanted white but was not available. All that being said, this is a great refrigerator so far. Only complaint is their isn’t a split shelf for tall items.
I like the ice maker in the door because it frees up much needed space on the shelves. Only thing is the ice maker is small so we run out when we have company.
The drawers are very quiet, and feel sturdy. That was one thing I always looked for.
The Black Slate is beautiful. It just didn’t match our other white appliances.
Hopefully when those are needed the slate will be available.
All in all I think this is a great fridge.

Freezer handle constantly pops off

Have had the fridge for a year. Overall decent fridge. It's quiet and makes ice fast but the freezer handle constantly comes off when opened. It has a bad design using 2 tiny set screws that don't seem to get tight enough no matter how much you tighten.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product but lacking one thing

Refrigerator has been great the only issue we have is the noise that it makes running water for the ice maker and just running in general. Also wished the panel had lights to light up water cubed and crushed so you could see what you were pushing at night when there's no lights on. Other than that no problems so far.
