We read all the great reviews, which was why we initally purcahsed this fridge. Not even two years and the top of fridge cant get colder than 60 degrees and the bottom drawer everything has ice on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new refrigerator

It’s so much bigger than our old refrigerator. I like the compartments and dividers to keep things organized. Wish it came with a butter keeper on the door. Not happy with the freezer door handle. It came off shortly after the installer left and a second time a week later. I reattached with the set screw up for easy access to tighten. Seems like it needs a set screw on top and bottom of the handle on both sides

The ice maker is woefully inadequate.

I like the refrigerator just fine. HOWEVER the in door ice maker is pathetic! Because sufficient ice is a big deal to me I read the specs thoroughly before I bought. The website claimed the ice maker made 3.7 lbs. of ice per day. Apparently that statement has been removed in the 2 weeks I've had my refrigerator because it's no longer there.
There are only 2 in our house. The ice maker is inadequate for us. The ice maker makes maybe 1.5 lbs. of ice a day.
The refrigerator I replaced made probably 8 lbs. a day. I am VERY disappointed and more than a little miffed.
Yes, I am buying the additional ice maker but one shouldn't have to purchase another product to make up for the inadequacies of the initial product.
If you want plenty of ice don't count on this refrigerator to make you happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
