Love it!

We had a side by side and had to bend down to see things on the bottom shelves and to open the produce drawers. This fridge has so much more room and is so easy to see everything in it. We bought the second ice maker for the freezer. We live in Florida and our other fridge made minimal ice. We now have an abundance of ice. We bought the slate grey color and it shows zero fingerprints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Issues after only 4 years

Our refrigerator is 4 years old. Here is the diagnosis we received from the technician: "The evaporator fan is frozen. It's still cooling, but the fan isn't working b/c it's frozen." He added that "this happens with GE fridges."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smudge resistant with some annoyances

We have had this model for 4 years. I like the slate as it shows almost zero smudges. It’s spacious and looks nice. The only downside is we had to have the fresh fan (I’m not sure of the exact name) replaced twice and once was within the first few months. Condensation builds up on the fan and then it freezes. Apparently this is a problem with GE fridges and their fans. Also the ice machine and the ice stick a lot and we have to open the ice dispenser up and give it a shake a few times before it will release the ice. The bottom drawer on ours also gets stuck a lot. And it was like that since day one. Not due to food buildup or anything it just stops pulling out at about halfway. Very annoying to try and reach the back of the drawer as it’s a deep reach, but shallow drawer. I wouldn’t buy this model again if we bought new today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looked Grewal and works even better. The turbo cool/freeze feature is amazing how quickly it works. The ice maker is super fast. Couldn’t ask for a better fridge.

Love this refrigerator!

Lots more room than the Samsung 28 horrible frig I had. GE icemaker doesn't take up space on the top shelf like the other. The Slate color we got doesn't show finger prints and smuges so I'm not constantly wiping it down. I'll never buy any thing other that GE looking to buy the matching dishwasher now.

Keeps it Cold!

This Fridge does one thing very well. Food is Cold. The other fridge decided it’s compressor should fail after 5 years. Not cool. This one is American and the reliability rating is good per the repair guys. The ice maker is fast. The unit does make some noise while cooling but you get used to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
