I conducted a pretty extensive review of comparable refrigerators . I researched online and visited many big box and appliance stores. After performing all the analysis and comparisons; I purchased the GE French door refrigerator Model GE - GFE28GSKSS. My impression is that I picked a winner! My expectation is for the appliance to perform well and have a long serviceable life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far so good. It is a better built and designed refrigerator than the Whirlpool it replaced.

Love the fridge but it came with bad door switches so it is not cooling properly. Switches on back order so we have to wait at least 6 weeks for repair. Would have been 5 star otherwise

The only problem I have with the refrigerator is where the water dispenser is, there is no LED lighting at night to highlight “water, crushed, etc.”

It is a nice fridge! Would receive 5 stars if fridge doors didn’t need an extra push to stay closed. Door ice machine a little wonky - hard to align opening of class, cup, water bottle and it ends up on a he floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
