Had it about two months, works fine. I noticed that it was missing one of the roller wheels on the vegetable draw. Called the service department and they sent one in the mail within a week.

The drawers in this refrigerator and freezer have never worked properly and pieces of plastic broke off within the first year. The cost of repairs are exorbitant.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very spacious refrigerator and up to date as far as technology. I like the different compartments and shelves for added storage.

So far we like it with the exception of a couple issues. Six weeks after purchase the ice/water dispenser stopped working. Appears to be just a bad door switch I need to call in fer warranty repair. Personally I think it is kind of noisy and seems to run all the time. I will have them check that also at time of service. Overall seems like it will be a good. refrigerator.

I love the overall look of the slate refrigerator. It has lots of storage. Although, I noticed that GE doesn't suggest storing milk on the door, yet the pictures show it there. So I moved mine to one of the shelves inside and put condiments on the door. I had to remove a whole shelf inside when a large bottle of wine wouldn't fit anywhere. The freezer has plenty of space and I like the extra drawer.

Love this appliance, the space inside is very deceiving from the outside. Our first GE Profile refrigerator lasted 15 years! Hoping to get the same distance from this one.
