Huge, smart interior space.

Interior very well thought out. Lighting is excellent for all shelves. Icemaker works like a champ. I tested the refrigerator and freezer temperatures myself and they were true to the digital settings. If you are buying a refrigerator, stick with a manufacturer who has been making refrigerators for many years rather than a company who got its reputation building smart phones and computers and who then decided to try building refrigerators! Just sayin’...

Great Storage Space and Features

This is replacing a GE Profile side by side. The French Door and bottom freezer design allows greater flexibility for storing food, drinks and condiments of various sizes and shapes without totally reorganizing the refrigerator or freezer section. Large amble bins and shelves provide ease if access and a lot of storage. Great for the Holidays when you really have more food and desserts then you need. Highly recommend this model. Oh and BTW the old Profile side by side is 12 years old and running strong. It's been moved to the garage as a secondary food storage unit. We replaced it in our kitchen because this design fits our life style better. And one final great feature. You can fill a pitcher with the water dispenser..another bonus.

We replaced our Sam Sung refrigerator with this GE model and we love it! It runs very quietly and keeps all the fresh food at consistent temperatures. Love the lighting features and the spacious interiors in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. So glad we switched to GE!

Love the new black slate look. Much easier to clean. Took a while to figure out where things go inside. I am liking the inside configuration now that I am used to it. The plate under the water/ice dispenser has a chip on the edge. Can't imagine what might have caused that as we are pretty low key at home. So far no problems with ice maker. It has worked great.

3 Weeks With The New Refrigerator

I have had my new GE refrigerator for 3 weeks and my husband and I love it. We saw reviews that the fridge was loud and the ice machine would go rouge when dispensing but we haven’t had issues with either. I did A LOT of research before making this large purchase and even subscribed to Consumer Reports for assistance in choosing the best refrigerator and I can hands down say with confidence that the GE #GFE28GSKSS is the biggest bang for your buck. The slim ice maker in door and spacious interior is what sold us. However, we were not informed that the second ice maker in the freezer was a separate part that we would need to purchase. We’ve held off on buying it because the ice maker makes enough ice for the two of us and haven’t had any issues of running out. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the purchase and will continue to update my review overtime since I know it’s hard to judge a product after only 3 weeks.
