Sleek look

We have owned this fridge for 2 1/2 years now. This is a huge capacity refrigerator, with loads of storage. The slate look is very appealing.
Frustration is in the ice maker and water supply. It will make 8 ice cubes in a 24 hour period! Thus the reason they now sell an optional second ice maker that you can install. To fill a 12 ounce glass of water takes 65 seconds! This feels like a very long time. So we often don’t use it and go back to the tap. :(
Although the slate appearance does not leave fingerprints and is very nice looking, the part you contact most...the handles, are still in stainless steel and always look smudged!
For an expensive refrigerator, there are some things they could work on.

I am in love with the Slate appliances. I have recently purchased a stove and range hood so I had to buy the refrigerator to match. This is the first French Door fridge I have purchased and I love it. Just wish it came with a butter compartment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful! Won’t stay cool!

It continually goes in spurts where it does not cool properly and we have to move all of our food into our 25 year old refrigerator that is located in the garage (and still works just fine). Three service visits later and they still can't figure out what is wrong with it. Some kind of electrical short that can't be located.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of space, very quite

So far we love the refrigerator, very quite and works fine. The issue we had was the seal on the freezer door was not glued on. So we called store we bought it from. In
a couple of days they come out and replaced the freezer door. Now the door is not even and ice is forming on the inside on one side. So they are setup to come out again and fix this problem. It would have been nice if everything worked right to begin with considering the price of the refrigerator.

Leaks water on floor and Ice maker quit after only 9 months average use. Freezes up regularly.

Have had this for 2 months. The water dispenser has dripped from day one. Very, very annoying!!!
