We love our new refrigerator! So much space and it works great! Not to mention with two little ones it leaves no finger prints!

Ice maker need improvements

Ice maker plugs up with ice and wont dispense ice. This happens at least once a week. Doesn't make make much ice. I wont not recommend this fridge if you use the ice maker. Ice maker is a big disappointment! So far everything else seems fine with the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too Noisy

Too loud. Not quiet . Compressor always seems to be on. Filters cost too much.

Lots of nice features, but...

So, I bought the refrigerator because I was at the appliance store buying a dish washer and decided to replace an aging LG refrigerator at the same time. My brother had a GE refrigerator and said he would buy another. So here goes:
>Nice looking big refrigerator
>Cheap stainless steel. A magnet will stick to it. The old LG had far better stainless steel (no sticking magnet).
> Very nice shelf and door rack adjust ability.
> NOT ENOUGH COLD WATER! This is probably my biggest complaint. You might get 12 oz and that's it.
>Ice maker is OK as long as only 2 or 3 people use it. I had the auxiliary ice maker added.
In general, this machine is absolutely usable, but I wish I had shopped around more.

Spacious and sleek

I love this refrigerator. It's pretty spacious to meet the needs of our family of four. Water and ice features are great and minimalistic, and I like that the icemaker is on the side door rather than taking up space on the inside of the fridge. My only complaints are 1) I wish the lowest bottom shelf of the refrigerator was split into 2 drawers instead of 1 wide drawer because you end up having to open both refrigerator french doors in order to access that drawer; and 2) I wish this model included a dairy/butter bin (it's an additional charge).

Finally updated kitchen and the GE Appliances are beautiful and have a lot of great features but the refrigerator is a little loud

We really love our fridge. it has lots of room, and the freezer is great! I don't love that the ice maker stops working after the filter is past due so may days.
