We bought this in August for our new home. While overall we are pleased, every time the ice maker fills it makes a loud banging noise. Technicians have been here multiple times, replaced parts, but noise continues. Not what we expect from this supposed high quality refrigerator!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great refrigerator! We looked at a lot of different ones and this was the winner. Worth every penny and we love the inside shelves. The bottom drawer freezer has to levels which is great for packing items. My ONLY complaint is the ice/water dispenser on the door. The water is great, but when you select ice cubes (crushed or cubed), they come out fast and furious, and end up all over the floor. Even if I hold the glass I’m filling right up to the opening, the cubes go flying wider than the glass. But the ice maker makes plenty of ice so that’s helpful. Other than that, love this fridge!

Black Slate Refrig.

I purchased this Black Slate Refrigerator in June, had it installed in September 2018. It is a 28cf so is very roomy inside and freezer area is also. Love the color and black slate can be washed with just water, no streaks. Loving my new kitchen set.

We've had the french door refrigerator for three weeks and everyone who come in the kitchen loves it. We replaced a 20 year old GE frig with this one. The old GE has given us 20 years of trouble free use. We just needed something bigger.

I purchased Aug.2018. Two yrs ago, I decided to go with another "popular brand" when buying my new washer/dryer. HUGE MISTAKE! Had to replace both within 19 months! (Went back to GE). My current GE frig.(side-by-side) was 18+ years old, needed minor repairs(cond. fan), decided to transfer it to garage and buy an upgrade for kitchen. I've been very pleased so far with features and functioning. I am a bit disappointed in the exterior finish, as the "no fingerprints' is not up to par. Perhaps it's just my unit, but it shows all that touches it, hard to wipe away. Used stainless steel polish, has helped quite a bit, but I'm still constantly wiping off prints, smugs.
