Trouble since purchased

We’ve had trouble with the ice maker and water since we purchased it. Water would work then not work. An appliance man came and replaced whole filter system, now time will tell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've been enjoying the features of our new fridge for about a month. The space is wonderful, lighting is great, looks very nice. We've had some issues with freezer frost, and the very heavy left-hand door latch that "ka-clunks" with every open/shut. Hope to resolve all those issues with some re-alignment of all doors. Wish it had the adjustable/retractable half-shelves like our last refrigerator to better manage storage.

Love this refrigerator, in Black Slate. The french doors open wide and the interior huge to give you plenty of room to store food. Love the interior lights that light up the whole interior. The only little annoyance is the alarm that the door is open.....though good when you don't get the doors fully shut!

Nice Refrigerator

Nice refrigerator for the price. Everything is expensive these days so this was in line price wise. I am disappointed in the shelves on the ice maker side of the left door. One shelf will only hold mini size cans of coke and the other is so narrow I can only put a pkg of 1 lb. butter sticks in it. I feel this is a poor design of shelf space but otherwise this is a good product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first french door

Product design is simple, plenty of space, quality of material decent (probably what you pay for), good temperature management, nice lighting and met most of our expectations. Some things that can be refined and probably could be changed for betterment are compressor ( noise ), water filter cost and importantly design of the shelf edging. The shelf edging should ideally be rounded or softened in a way that you don't hurt yourself badly because the edge is angled and pretty sharp. I wish GE can redesign and replace them as factory warranty. Also at least one of the shelf should have been the quick space shelf.
