After my old refrigerator gave up the ghost while I was on vacation I agonized over what to replace it with! Too many had many more features than I was interested in. Too many were to big to fit in my space. This GE fit all my criteria. The most important th to me was “would I be able to get parts and service if something was wrong. Both were a yes! No brainer!

State of the Art!!

Appliance is definitely state of the art! I can't believe how much space I have in the fridge and freezer. It is also very well lit with the addition of LED lights.

Love the use of space!

I am giving the 4 stars out of 5. I would have given it a 5 if it was finger print resistant. Other than that the freezer space is great. We can stand our gin bottles upright in there and fit a large bin for our fish and then some. The left side pockets are perfect for those annoying condiments that knock around they fit like a glove. The right side drawers are perfect for milk etc. The shelve and drawer space inside is perfect. With refrigerator organizing bins from amazon you can pack a lot into this baby. Very pleased. I don’t use the water we have a 5 gallon unit we use. I can not speak for he ice yet. It was just delivered today and is working on making our ice.

Great fridge EXCEPT for the crushed ice delivery

I have finally figured out why the crushed ice goes all over the floor and only about 90% goes in the glass. The chute that the crushed ice falls through is NOT completely round. It is flat in the back with 90 degree corners and rounded in the front. The chute should be completely round so it falls into the glass. I'm not an engineer, but that is a VERY POOR design for a crushed ice delivery system. I usually put it into a bowl and then into a glass or water bottle.

Pros: It’s sturdy with glass shelving and doesn’t feel cheap.
Cons: Being in a household of 5, I’m disappointed that the ice maker is very small and slow to reproduce more. I’m not able to purchase the additional maker. I wish the left side door trays on the inside were larger and I would’ve liked it if the glass shelving were a bit more easy to adjust and maneuver around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Spacious !

The refrigerator is excellent with just 2 exceptions. The ice maker holding bin is rather small. And, both doors mut be opened to access the "Climate Zone" drawer which holds meats and cheeses.
I would recommend this to a friend!
