Can’t settle for anything but GE!

I bought it 2 months ago. So far so good. Hope it will last more than 9 years like my old side by side GE. It’s spacious and looks classy. The only thing I don’t like about it is I don’t see the temperature of the fridge and the freezer. It produces too much ice that we have to empty it everyday. There’s no holder in case some water drops from the dispenser. Other than that, my family and I are happy and satisfied.

DON'T EXPECT MORE THAN TWO YEARS

I bought this 2 years ago. There is very little room with the ice maker in the left door. My first problem was getting the door alarm just right. I finally just turned it off. The door gaskets are stretched out and loose, how does that even happen?? Keeps things cold enough, a little too cold. One crisper freezes things. Now, the divider that flips into position when you open and close the door doesn't work. So if you don't move it by hand, you end up air conditioning the whole kitchen. What an energy waster that is. I got that repaired and now 2 weeks later IT IS BROKEN AGAIN. Please design stuff that works, GE. I put my entire kitchen and trust in your name and you have let me down on EVERY appliance I bought from you. Great features, they just don't work. Time to move on to another brand for my home, I guess.

We've had this GE Fridge since Thanksgiving, 2017. We decided on this one because it was simple in design, but it still had all the features we wanted (French doors, freezer on bottom, ice/water in door, and stainless ). It's spacious in both the upper portion as well as the freezer. The LED light is bright and placed well. Storage in the doors is ample on the right (2 gallons of milk side-by-side in the largest bin) plus, lots of jars and sauces in the remaining two bins. However, the left door has limited storage, but that is to be expected since the ice maker/water filter is housed there. The ice maker itself is rather small and somewhat noisy. It took us a while to get used to it's sounds and not think something was wrong with it - it's just loud. If you have more than 2 or 3 people in your household, you will probably have to buy bags of ice to keep on hand. The ice it makes is fine, just not enough if you like to use lots of ice. The water filter reminds you when to replace it, and the GE website makes it easy to order them. They are expensive, so just know that's probably the norm for ALL replacements, and it won't matter which brand you buy. So if that's the only issue we face in the years to come, I'm good with buying bags of ice to entertain - we usually do anyway! We'll see how the next few years play out with duraility

LOVE MY REFRIGERATOR!

My husband and I love our new refrigerator! It has so much room! I love being able to adjust the shelves to fit large cookie sheets. Also, the shelves are not wobbly like refrigerators I have had in the past. I wasn’t sure if I would like having two doors to open but I don’t have to if We are just getting milk, etc out. It also has an alarm if the door has been left open. Surprisingly, this has come in handy.
