I don't like the touch control for ice, water, crushed ice. first you have to touch the control several times to get it to change between each function. second the ice will fly out on the floor even when holding the glass close. third the tray under the ice maker spots badly and is really hard to get cleaned off. fourth the doors and drawer are very heavy and hard to open and close.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We needed to upgrade our 1970's refrig that came with the house - found this one at a local scratch-n-dent store, and couldn't pass up the value! Working like a champ, and has soooo much more room than our old model.

The freezer really works quickly - side by side refrigerators are nothing compared to this gem. When it says what the temperature is, it really is that temperature. Keeps cold even after long electric power offs.

Like the frig but can’t believe you can’t put a gallon of milk or an orange huice container on main lower shelf without laying it down. Nonsensical.

Missing basic features

Refrigerator does not have some basic storage ie. butter storage compartment on the door. It does not have a storage rack on the freezer door.

I love everything about the Fridge has great space and capabilities. Only issue I have is the water leaks from the from (dispenser) when it's not being used. Not a heavy leak but it does drip when not in use. Causing water marks on the front have to constantly be cleaning it off to avoid more marks.
