A little disappointing

Very noisy. The in door ice maker is not sufficient except for very limited use and it takes a long time for the ice to come out. If you use any as amount of ice be sure to get the additional in freezer ice maker

Great Features

I love everything about my new fridge with the exception of the ice system. With both the crushed & cube features it throws the ice out onto the floor no matter where you hold you glass. Other than that I like everything about my new fridge. I like that you can open both doors and see everything w/o moving contents around. Same with the freezer - when you open it you can see most everything at a glance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this one because it was made in the United States. Last one only lasted 8 years due to a defect in the fridge that GE never did a recall

low water function

The water filters last only 1.5-2 months, and thus are too expensive to have to replace frequently.

This is a great refrigerator with great features at this price point! We have had zero issues with it and it is what I would expect from a bran like GE!

Bought about a month ago and have had no problems. Many reviews complained of noise. Mine is whisper quiet. When first got I kept opening the doors thinking it wasn’t running. The only complaint I have is the ice maker/ water dispenser. There is a light that lights up when you make selection, but the selections themselves don’t light up. So for me who gets up in the night for water I have to turn on the light to see the water button. Overall no complaints happy with my purchase.

Ice maker loud

It’s ok but I had no idea how loud it is, the new ice made bangs loud enough to be heard all over!
