My last refrigerator was Only five years old, but I noticed a real difference between that one, The water and ice dispenser works better, a more ergonomic and spacious design in the finishes nice too

Bought it about 2 months ago . Works well so far . When the compressor starts it whines as it ramps up. Variable speed . More of a pitch whine than loud noise.

I love my ge slate refrigerator!

The slate color with stainless steel handles goes with my other stainless steel appliances and I dont have a million fingerprints on the refrigerator. The dual ice makers are very convenient when entertaining. I like this refrigerator so much that I bought the exact same refrigerator for my lower level when we finished it!
