Love the features and room!

I bought this refrigerator a month ago. I wanted two icemakers, and it came pre-wired for a second icemaker in the bottom freezer. I have plenty of ice, and can't wait till summer when we'll fill the coolers and still have ice! I had a side-by-side refrigerator prior to this, and things got lost in the back. This one is not so deep that I can't find everything I need. Love this!

My main issue with this refrigerator is that the water dispenser leaks. They already replaced a brand new one because not only was it leaking from the front but from the back, too, and wet my hardwood floor under it. The new one isn't leaking out the back but still drips a few times a day from the water dispenser. In all the years I've had water in the door of various refrigerators, none of them leaked so I don't understand why GE cannot get this issue fixed. The repairman told me "get used to it because they do drip". Otherwise I am pleased with it.

I started for a French Door Refrigerator

I started for a French Door Refrigerator to replace my 17 yr old Kenmore. Had all white appliances but no deals to be had on white. I searched many units and came back to GE because of features and price.

Ice maker locks up

Refrigerator is what I would expect except for the ice maker. It continues to become clogged. It is simple to fix but it results in ice falling all over the floor.

I bought the new refrigerator to replace the GE profile refrigerator that I had bought in 1990. 27 years later it is still working now in my garage...
