Great Space!

We just bought this two weeks ago and it's been installed for less than a week. We love this model with more space for shelves. Like the ice maker on the door so much more convient.

Overall we really like our new refrigerator. However this model does not come with a dedicated butter compartment. Had to special order one separately from a parts distributor.
Also the shelf that holds a milk jug , will not fit a taller tea, 1 gallon container. So they have to go on a door shelf.

I got my refrigerator about 2 months ago and everything is great. The dual ice maker option has come in very handy and both produce ice quickly. The extra tall water/ice dispenser is also great. The capacity of both the fridge and freezer are deceptively large.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far, love it! Love the fact it was made in America, very room, makes great ice especially with the addition of a second ice maker in the bottom half. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star, is tend to drip a little bit on the tray after you get ice or water and makes the tray spotty

I bought this because of the size (wanted a large one) and the ice maker which is on the door and leaves more room in the refrigerator itself. Also, there is a hook-up for a second ice maker which I wanted. There is so much room in this appliance. Lights are bright. Like the "deli" drawer--very roomy. Vegetable bins are a little smaller than I would like, but keep everything fresh. Solid shelves. Freezer is huge & the drawer is spacious, too. HOWEVER, the refrigerator is LOUD and buzzes/hums all the time. It is SO annoying! Hope I get used to it soon. I really can't understand why GE hasn't rectified this noise level issue. (I read about this in a review before buying this, but didn't think is would bother me. It does.) Also, sometimes the touch panel will not change from water to crushed ice or cubed ice (or vice versa). It has to be tapped more than once. I really like this refrigerator and glad I bought it, but it has a couple of issues.

We've had this for about 2 months now. Absolutely love it! There is so much space in there. I can go grocery shopping and I think I'm going to fill it up, but, that is not the case. The freezer is also extremely spacious.
The only thing that I really complain about is the ice maker. I didn't realize how much ice we use. During the week, it's no problem. On the weekend when everyone is home, we come very close to running out, as the ice bin is small. But, I love the feature that the ice maker is in the door and not taking up space in the fridge or freezer. We haven't run out of ice, just have come close.we did have a get together and my sister constantly eats ice. She loved the filtered ice that came out. She said it tasted good.
I had so many compliments on how nice it is. The slate finish is perfect. Very easy to clean. Can't wait to upgrade the rest of the appliances!

Nice storage space

I was surprised by the amount of room this fridge offered for it's size. My previous unit was bigger and was concerned about going to slightly smaller size, however to my surprise I didn't notice a difference! Great value in my opinion and feedback in my research has shown GE to have a long standing positive reputation compared to Kenmore and Samsung, which are known to break down quickly.
