We bought this refrigerator to match our GE double over and microwave we purchased 2 years ago. I love the room I have and the veggie/fruit drawers really keep my produce fresher, longer.

I have never had a bottom feeezer before and I truly love it. With the different compartments I can always see what I have. The fridge has tons of room!

Purchased to replace an LG. Large drawer too small for pizza box. Gasket on freezer not the greatest deal. Had it checked by a technician. Occasionally find frost in freezer yet door is all the way closed. When all the fans are running, it’s pretty noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having always had a standard refrigerator before, the French Door is definitely a change. I miss the door storage space a little more than I thought I would, since there's just a lot less of it on a French Door. The ice maker does freeze up sometimes, but it super easy to shake up and knock the ice loose again. And it feels like it's not quite as deep as other fridges I've had, but otherwise it's wonderful! Way more room in the freezer, and the shelves are very easy to configure differently to accommodate different things (like a watermelon in the summer).

We like the fridge, the Slate color, and it's features. The only two complaints are that the ice maker holds only a small quantity of ice and we had to request a free GE drip kit be installed because the water dispenser usually dripped a few drops of water. I only heard about this drip kit from another GE owner. It seems to be a problem with similar models.

the icemaker takes literally zero space in the refrig. best feature of the entire deal. The second best feature is the depth on the unit overall. Really like this unit
