Replaced my old 20 year old refrigerator

We are very happy to have a new refrigerator and the water and ice in the door is a wonderful convenience. Enjoying the french door storage. So, far so good.

Love my new fridge

Installed on April 25 2018. Love the amount of room, the lighting is amazing. I paid to add the additional ice maker. Really glad I did since the ice maker is not made for large families. I purchased a SLATE color and looks amazing with my cabinets. The shelves moved easily so I was able to put large items on one side. Had an older fridge so it runs much quieter than my old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This fridge has all the space you will ever need! We just moved and needed to replace the existing fridge. We liked the look and feature of the GE Slate line and this fridge was it. The French door style make the freezer easier to use without having frozen food falling out all the time. The exact temp settings mean we never have to guess what the temp is set for. Overall we love it.

Good visibility and plenty of room for everything. Wish it had a sliding shelf and a butter dish, but other than that we are pleased

Never buy an appliance that only offers a 1 year

I should have had an alarm go off when this fridge and other GE appliances show a one year warranty. If a company believes in a product it would offer a longer warranty.
I purchased my fridge (along with a washer and drier) for our new home. We only occupy our home part of the year. Needless to say we come home and our fridge water dispenser drips. Now I see in reviews this is common for this model. As everyone knows you pay to have someone come out to diagnose. You pay. Then who knows when parts are in. Then you pay again. Oh and my washer bounces all around when it spins gfd45gsskww that is also less then one month past the yearly warranty. I will never by GE again. They use to be in my opinion the best. Now they are a never buy product. If they read reviews they know the problems. If they cared the problem would be fixed. If they knew their products were good they would offer a longer warranty.
