Love this refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator a week ago. So far, I have loved it. There is pleOnty of room and you can find things in there much easier than a side to side. The only downside I have found so far is the ice/water dispenser in the door. If it is dark in your kitchen, it is difficult to see which option is chosen. Until you learn the order of cubed, crushed and water, you have no idea which option is chosen. GE should figure out a way to light up just the words (cubed, crushed, water) so it can be seen easier. Other than that, I have been totally happy with my purchase!

Bought this a few months ago and love the capacity. I do wish there was more interior halogen lighting and a quieter ice maker, but guess we can't have everything.

WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE FEATURES HOWEVER WHEN WE STARTED USING THE APPLIANCE IT BECAME APPARENT THAT THE ICEMAKER IS WHOLY INADEQUATE TO SMALL AND TO SLOW TO PROVIDE REQUESTED ICE

I love the slate finish, it does not show fingerprints, food grime, or anything. I have had it 2 months and have wiped it off once, but not because it was dirty but because I just felt like it was time to do it. The stainless steel handles, however, are a different story. I have to constantly wipe them off with stainless steel wipes. Glad its only the handles and doesn’t take up too much time. Also, I would like it better if it had the adjustable shelf that you can shorten the length of it to give more room for taller items in your fridge besides just in the door. My previous Sears fridge had this feature and I used it all the time. Also, the freezer door does not seem to close very smoothly...maybe a little rougher than normal but not extreme.

Good lighting and space for groceries. A little short on ice maker, although we do use a lot of ice for two people.
