New Fridge from GE arrived today!

We just got it delivered today but we shopped at 5 stores over 2 days and did our research! Plus we compared prices and delivery times because that was important to us. We ended up with a GE partially because our previous fridge was a GE and it lasted almost 25 years! We also liked the look of this one, the slate color option and also the sturdiness of the shelves and handles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this for more fridge space. It’s ok, it is extremely noisy, the ice maker trying to turn on can be heard on the other side of the house. Its constantly making noise, I really wish it was quieter.

love the look, overall features are what we were looking for - BUT, no one told us how noisy the icemaker,mounted on the door, would be. it makes a loud sound like a bang that the tray has filled and set up.

Refrigerator seems to operate as it should. However there are several things we just do not like about this particular model. The edges of the shelves inside are very sharp and until you get used to the position of the shelves you hit them all the time, not to mention each time a guest reaches in for something. The shelves adjustability is very limited. You must use the shelf on the door for large containers like tea pitchers or wine bottles, because the shelves cannot be adjusted wide enough to accommodate large items. The door flap that closes to seal between the doors is VERY noisy and sounds like it is going to break every time the door closes. Other GE model refrigerators may be better, but this one would make us not want another GE product without very close inspection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
