Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your new refrigerator! It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. The dispenser recess grill will catch this water. Also, dispense water for approximately 5 minutes (1-2 gallons) to make sure all air is purged from the system. If water continues to drip long after the glass has been removed, service may be necessary. If the freezer temperature is too cold, the ice will spray more because it is more brittle and flies apart faster while being crushed. To correct this, turn the thermostat control to a warmer setting. Ice may spray over the side of the glass if the glass is held to far from the dispenser chute. Holding the glass approximately one inch from the dispenser chute will correct this.
Ice may spray over the side of the glass if the mouth of the glass is too small. If possible, use a glass with a wider mouth (3 - 4" opening). A running refrigerator can have an outward bow of 3/8". This bow is measured by placing a straight edge against the side of the refrigerator. The gap at the front and the rear corners should be equal, and no more than 3/8". If the bow is 3/8" on a new refrigerator that has not been plugged in and running, then service is recommended.
