Bought almost 3 months ago and love it! Much more space than my old GE. The freezer on the bottom is great!

Have had this for almost a week, and so far, love it! It's larger than my last fridge and that in itself, is a huge improvement. The ice maker is a big loud when it is processing and sounds funny, but love having crushed ice. The water/ice maker on the door does leak, which I read about and have put a papertowel down. So, problem solved.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The refrigerator/freezer offers convenience and lots of storage. The shelves are adjustable for your personal needs; it has a fruit drawer and a vegetable drawer; the freezer offers a top drawer and an adjustable divider for the bottom part; the water, ice, and temperature controls on front are convenient; the refrigerator and freezer are both extremely well lit. The freezer on the bottom offers much more room than the side by side in both the freezer and the refrigerator.

Good Fridge

We've had this fridge about three weeks now and I am overall very happy with our purchase. A few things I will mention specifically that others have commented on in reviews. 1) The sound - yes, its louder than our old fridge (it hums) but I would not say that its a problematic sound. 2) If there are more than three people in your household you are going to want to get the extra ice maker that installs in the bottom freezer (IM-5D kit). This is helpful if you want to grab ice for containers that don't fit neatly under the door chute or to give the dog an ice cube for example. I have to say I was very pleased at how easy that was to install, this particular fridge comes all prewired/pre water lined for it so all you do is basically do is plug it in. Just follow the directions and you will be fine installing. Also, I have found that I have plenty of space for everything and its smartly designed to meet my needs. I would say though if you have a lot of tall bottles pay attention to make sure they will all fit on the shelves. I have found the door bins to be very roomy and sufficient but I can see if I had a lot more tall items the configuration may not be great. 4) Also I really like the slate finish, shows no finger prints. Good bye to stainless steel! Also we bought the three year extended warranty thru the store. It just seemed like the smart thing to do on any fridge these days based on reviews.
